Agentforce for Nonprofits is Salesforce's AI-agent layer built for Nonprofit Cloud — and as of late 2025 it's the default AI offering for new nonprofits on the Power of Us program, not NPSP. It runs on Nonprofit Cloud's Person Account data model, which is why, for nonprofits, the NPSP-to-Nonprofit-Cloud question and the AI question have become the same conversation. Here's what it includes and what it needs.

What it is

Agentforce Nonprofit brings AI agents — for donor engagement, program and case support, and staff assistance — natively into Nonprofit Cloud. Because it's part of the Nonprofit Cloud product line rather than a bolt-on, it inherits the platform's data model and roadmap directly.

Why it's tied to Nonprofit Cloud

This is the key point for existing NPSP organizations: Agentforce is built against standard objects and Person Accounts, which is Nonprofit Cloud's architecture — not NPSP's Household model. So an NPSP org generally can't just switch on Agentforce Nonprofit; the AI roadmap is one of the main reasons NPSP is effectively frozen while investment flows to NPC.
