Zoho CRM vs Zoho One: Which Should an Indian SMB Buy?

Zoho CRM is a single product — the CRM — priced at roughly ₹800–₹2,600 per user per month in India. Zoho One is the all-in-one bundle of 45+ Zoho apps (CRM, Mail, Books, Projects, People and more) at around ₹2,700 per user per month on all-employee pricing (or ~₹4,500 on flexible). The rule of thumb: if you need meaningfully more than CRM, Zoho One is usually cheaper than buying the apps separately. Here's how to decide. (Verify current pricing on Zoho's site.)

The core difference

Zoho CRM does one job — sales and customer management. Zoho One is the whole operating system for a business: the CRM plus finance, email, HR, projects, help desk and dozens more, under one login and one bill.

When Zoho CRM (alone) is right

  • Sales/customer management is genuinely all you need from Zoho.
  • You already have tools you're happy with for accounting, email, projects.
  • You want the lowest per-user cost and a focused tool. See Zoho CRM pricing in India.

When Zoho One wins

  • You're paying for several separate SaaS tools that Zoho One would replace.
  • You want GST invoicing (Zoho Books), projects and HR in one ecosystem.
  • You value one vendor, one login, one bill over best-of-breed.

The cost math

The tipping point is roughly "do I use 3+ of the bundled apps?" If your business would otherwise pay for CRM plus Books plus Projects plus Mail separately, Zoho One's per-user price usually beats the sum — and everything's pre-integrated. If you'd only ever use CRM, paying the One price wastes money on apps you won't open.

The honest caveat

Zoho One's value is real only if you adopt the apps. Buying the bundle and using one app is the same waste as an over-spec'd Salesforce edition. Map which apps you'll actually use before deciding. Unsure? Talk to us — or compare the field in Salesforce vs Zoho vs HubSpot for Indian SMBs.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between Zoho CRM and Zoho One?

Zoho CRM is a single product for sales and customer management (~₹800–₹2,600/user/month in India). Zoho One is the all-in-one bundle of 45+ Zoho apps — CRM plus finance, email, HR, projects and more — for around ₹2,700/user/month on all-employee pricing, under one login and bill.

Is Zoho One worth it for a small business?

It's worth it if you'd otherwise pay for three or more of the bundled apps separately (e.g. CRM plus Books plus Projects) — then the bundle usually beats the sum and everything's pre-integrated. If you'd only ever use the CRM, Zoho One wastes money on apps you won't open.

Should I buy Zoho One just for the CRM?

No. If CRM is all you need, buy Zoho CRM alone at the lower per-user price. Zoho One's value depends on actually adopting several apps — buying the bundle and using one is the same waste as an over-spec'd software edition.
